Sunday Roast Beef

It’s hard to look past a big lump of beef for the Sunday Dinner. This one's straightforward if you’re in the mood to rustle one up. I'll not lie, I was aiming for medium on this. It's probably best that didn't go to plan because the rest of the family would have hit the roof if there was any blood in sight. I know the majority of people will be the same but I'll definitely be creating another for all those medium rare lovers like myself.

Pat your lump of beef down dry with some kitchen roll and cover in some oil. Season the life out of it with some salt and pepper. Get your pan over a high heat and when hot add your beef. Sear on all sides to seal and develop a nice crust on it. Once sealed remove and pop back onto your board.
