Ingredients: 225 g Butter; 225 g Caster sugar; 4 Eggs; 225 g Self-raising flour; 2 tspn Baking powder; 2 1/2 tbsp Cocoa powder; 75 g Butter; 260 g Icing sugar; 1 Vanilla extract; 4 squares Milk chocolate; 1 1/2 tbsp Milk; 1 Flake

This is our wee light chocolate sponge cake. As long as I can remember my Nanny made this every weekend, one for her house and one for ours. That's one of the main reasons I love cooking and baking so much, you get to share the enjoyment with others. According to my Granda ye could have it for the breakfast as well 😂
