Ingredients: 6 Egg whites; 340 g Caster sugar; 2 tbsp Cornflour; 1 tbsp White vinegar; 500 ml Whipping cream; 1 tbsp Icing sugar; 1 tin Pear quarter; 1 tin Mandarin oranges; 1 handful Strawberries; Chocolate orange segments; Flake bar

My Mum’s Pavlova is legendary in our family and hands down her best dessert. It's ridiculously light and moreish, to the point were my Uncle John has eaten a whole one to himself. There's been war of this pavlova and for good reason, it's that good. I think most family members have even had it for the breakfast and that's not even a joke!

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Get your egg whites into a separate bowl and ensure there's no shells or yolk in it. My Mum always says you need your mixing bowl perfectly clean, so wash with warm water and dry well. Add your egg whites to the mixing bowl and loosely whisk for a few minutes to break them up.
