Classic Steak Bake

The steak bake out of Gregg's is tasty but they don't have a look in against these boyo's. These are packed with tender rump steak and buckets of flavour. Lovely and meaty with a thick flavourful gravy from all the wee additions you wouldn't see in a shop bought one. They're a walk in the park to make and perfect for a quick meal or snack. Dare I say ideal for the lunch boxes!

Step 1

Get your pan over a medium to high heat and add a wee bit of oil. Pop in your beef and sear this for a few minutes, browning the outside. Now add your onion and soften these down. Add your garlic and tomato puree, mixing to combine. Launch in your stock and bay leaves, bringing up to a simmer for about 40-45 minutes.
