Top Hats

It always blows my mind when people haven't heard of a top hat. There isn't a kids birthday or family gathering without these wee yokes. They're so simple and brilliant to make with the kids. The only requirement I've learnt is to use the good chocolate, that's a firm instruction from my Nanny. Whichever you prefer, gather up a big bar and get stuck in.

Step 1

Melt your chocolate over bain-marie, stirring every so often to keep it smooth. You can melt it in the microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring between each but honestly it's not the same. Spoon a tsp or so of your chocolate into your small bun cases, gently pressing a marshmallow on top. You want the marsh to be slightly submerged in the chocolate.
